Q: What is taught at Mountain West Grappling?

A: Simply a very effective self-defense.

    At Mountain West Grappling, you are taught a mixed martial arts combining many of the arts Professor Ty accrued over the years such as Japanese Jujitsu, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Judo, Hapkido, Sambo and Wrestling. 

   The main focus is self defense.  You will learn how to close the gap and establish a clinch for a throw or take down. You will learn awarness and control of many situations and positions. You will learn how to counter and get out of many positions.  You will learn joint locks, breaks, chokes, proper technique of throws and submissions and escapes.  We work on off-balancing our opponents.  We work on exercises that strengthens your core muscles.

   Ty loves everyone he works with and he isn't afraid to express it. He wants you to do your best.

A: 16 years and older

A: $100 a month

Q: When are Classes?

A:  Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 7:30 pm -9:00 pm
